Kinetic Technologies KTU1108 USB Type-C Protector for CC Pins is designed for ESD, surge, and over-voltage protection (OVP) on USB Type-C ports’ CC1 and CC2 (CC and VCONN) lines. The KTU1108 offers an ultra-fast OVP response time of 15ns. The device meets IEC61000-4-5 surge protection standards, increasing immunity from power surges such as lightning strikes on the power lines while the USB cable is connected.
